Kermit Considers Tapping into T-Bar Well Field with Midland Entities 8/17/12

KERMIT, TX - The City of Kermit is looking into plans to tap into the pipeline being built in their county by the City of Midland, and the Midland County Freshwater Supply District.

At Thursday night's city council meeting Parkhill Smith and Cooper presented the current plans for the two Midland entities to develop the T-Bar Well Field.

This comes as the Kermit's water supply, which is solely water wells built around the city, decreases in quality and quantity.

Now that all three entities have agreed to begin discussing the possibility of Kermit receiving some of the water from T-Bar, Parkhill Smith and Cooper will draw up costs and plans for a possible pipeline to Kermit.
