Howard College Celebrates the Sonic Floor 8/16/12

Big Spring - The Dorothy Garrett Coliseum at Howard College, referred to people around town as "The Dorothy" has a new nickname, "The Sonic."

The college celebrated the opening of their new floor donated by the Abusaab family who owns both of the Sonics in town.

Education is very important to the Abusaabs and the wanted to able to give something to the community that would last for years to come.

"All of this would not be possible without our customers," Shiela Abusaab said. "Mike is firm believer in giving back and that's just what we've been doing!"

The $70,000 project installed a brand new multipurpose floor inside the Dorothy Garrett Coliseum.
