ODESSA, TX – An Odessa Hospital wants to bring awareness to a medical condition in expecting mothers they say can affect newborns. Gestational Diabetes is a condition that generally develops during pregnancy and can cause high blood sugar, which may affect the baby’s health.
Medical Center Hospital physicians recommend expecting mothers maintain a healthy diet, exercise regularly and take all their medications to prevent this from developing.
