CBS 7 News
June 29, 2012
Crews are beginning to clean a massive oil spill in South Odessa.
Take a look at this aerial view picture, taken from a plane yesterday afternoon.
The snapshots were posted on the "Gardendale Accountability Project's" website.
One of the members of the group was flying with a journalist when they spotted a pipeline, spilling oil near a resident's home.
The spill is located near Southfork Road and Loop 338.
The Texas Railroad Commission and Devon Energy employees are on the scene.
The oil company has brought in three tanker trucks that are cleaning up the mess.
No word yet on when the spill first started.
The oil company has declined to comment.
