UPDATE 4:34 PM Highway 137 is back open again. Crews will remain on scene for most of the evening doing cleanup.

Martin Co. - Crews are battling a large fire after a reported explosion north of Stanton, that officials say was started by static electricity.
It happened here around the 2000 block of Highway 137, right off the interstate north of Stanton in Martin County.
Crews on the scene say a salt water disposal tank exploded, causing a large fire and lots of billowing black smoke that could be seen from the interstate.
A church received smoke damage from the blaze.
Crews on the scene report a man was taken to the hospital with broken ribs caused by the impact of the explosion.
Highway 137, north of the interstate, is closed.
Sam's Surplus, which is near the fire, is closed today, so no employees were present.
