Odessa- The Ector County Attorney's office has confirmed that the trial of a 14-year-old accused in the death of Walker Lumpkin has been postponed to August 7th.
It was expected to begin today.
According to the Odessa American, Judge Jim Bobo says the reset was due to doctors who were set to testify in the case not being able to make it to Odessa.
4-year-old Walker Lumpkin died back in June 2011.
Last month, the trial was pushed back because evidence in the case was being given to the wrong office.
