Local Resident Planning Peaceful Protest at Midland Park Mall 2/28/14
CBS 7 News
The “no gun” sign posted at the Midland Park Mall has raised concerns for many concealed weapons permit gun holders. Mark LaCroix says he wants to hold a peaceful protest where he and others would bring flyers to mall retail stores letting them know about the loss of their business.
Simon Malls, the company that owns Midland Park Mall responded to locals concerns by saying:
“We have heard your concerns and understand the various positions that our community takes on the right to bear arms. However, it is Simon's policy as a private property owner not to allow possession of any weapon, whether concealed or displayed openly.”
