MISD Lowest Pregnancy Rate in the Last Decade 2/20/14

Midland Independent School District officials tell us pregnancies throughout the district have been at a steady decline and this year tops it off. Mike Mills with MISD says usually this time of year, there are about 100 pregnancies. For this school year, the number sits right around 80.
With the increase in population, people might wonder how that is possible. One option could be a program implemented three years ago called the XY Zone. It's a mentoring program for males in the district.
