Bobcats Cool Off Mavs 2/11/14
It was a rough night for Dirk Nowitzki and the Dallas Mavericks, who were looking to run their season-high winning streak to six in a row.
Al Jefferson poured in 30 points and Anthony Tolliver added 22 as Charlotte ripped the Mavs 114-89. The Bobcats tied a season high with 12 3-pointers and beat Dallas for only the second time in their last 19 meetings.
Nowitzki sprained his left ankle in the second quarter and was taken to the locker room for observation. He returned in the second half and finished with 16 points in 25 minutes.
Josh McRoberts had a career-high 13 assists and nine points for the Bobcats, who are clinging to the eighth seed in the Eastern Conference at 23-29.

Lamb finished with 19 points and Durant grabbed 10 rebounds as the Thunder stretched their Western Conference lead to four games over San Antonio and five games over the Trail Blazers.
— LeBron James rebounded from one of his worst games of the season to score 37 points and lead Miami's 103-97 triumph at Phoenix. Chris Bosh added 21 points and Mario Chalmers 13 for the Heat, who were without Dwyane Wade because of a migraine.
— Joakim Noah had a triple-double of 19 points, 16 rebounds and 11 assists as Chicago beat Atlanta 100-85 to move back over .500. Taj Gibson chipped in a game-high 24 points on 12 of 19 shooting while grabbing 12 boards.
— Nick Calathes and Marc Gasol each scored 18 points to help Memphis overcome Bradley Beal's 37 points in a 92-89 win over Washington. The Grizzlies blew a 16-point lead before winning for the 13th time in their last 17 games.
— Luol Deng scored 22 points and Cleveland avenged last month's 44-point loss to Sacramento by downing the Kings 109-99. Rookie Anthony Bennett recorded career highs with 19 points and 10 rebounds, while Dion Waiters added 20 points for the Cavaliers.
— Utah blew out the Los Angeles Lakers 96-79 behind Alec Burks' 24 points on 8 of 11 shooting. Gordon Hayward added 15 points, eight rebounds and seven assists to the victory.
