Monahans Celebrates the Life of Connie Bean 1/29/14

MONAHANS - Monahans lost a cherished man to many in the city two days ago. Connie Bean played a major role in the school district, but he will always be remembered for keeping the town's spirit alive.
Connie Bean died from respiratory issues in his sleep at the age of 77. For 42 years, Connie wasn't just the director of transportation and the driver of King Lobo to the people of Monahans Even though he's been retired for 6 years, friends say they vividly remember his love for the Loboes, bus rodeos, sports, and especially the football team. People couldn't say enough about his outgoing personality and storytelling capabilities.
So many loved ones want to celebrate the life of Connie, that the funeral is being held at the Monahans Sports Complex on Friday at 11 AM.
