Petroleum Museum Saving Money by Moving to the Midland Public Library 1/27/14

With the big $18 million renovation in the Petroleum Museumís future, administrators have had to look for a place to put their offices during the renovation period. Kathy Shannon, the Executive Director for the museum, says originally they were looking into trailers.
At todayís commissioner court meeting, the motion was accepted for administrators to move into the second floor of the downtown public library. Kathy says now, the money they save going towards trailers can be put to use in the renovation.
