Spurs to Host Thunder 1/22/14
UNDATED - The game of the night in the NBA is taking place in San Antonio as the Spurs entertain the Thunder in a game of divisional leaders. The Spurs are tops in the Southwest Division, as well as the Western Conference, with a record of 32-9, while the 32-10 Thunder are right behind in the conference race and tops in the Northwest Division. Oklahoma City comes in riding a four game winning streak.
Indiana is the top team in the Eastern Conference with 33 wins and seven defeats and the Pacers, who have won five straight, are on the road this evening. Indiana is in Phoenix for a game with the 23-17 Suns.
The Clippers remain the pace setter in the Pacific Division with 29 wins and 14 defeats. Tonight Los Angeles is in Charlotte facing the Bobcats.
The remaining first-place club with a game tonight is Toronto and the 20-20 Raptors, who lead the Atlantic Division, are home to Dallas. Just how bad is the Atlantic? The .500 Raptors lead second-place Brooklyn, which is four games under .500, by just two games while the Knicks, who are 15-26, are in third, only 5 1/2 games out of first.
The rest of tonight's NBA schedule has Orlando hosting Atlanta, the Celtics in Washington, Cleveland at home to Chicago, the 76ers at New York, Houston home to the Kings and Detroit at Milwaukee. The Bucks are in the midst of a nine-game losing streak.
