NJ lt. Gov.: Aid-For-Development Claim False 1/20/14
TRENTON, N.J. - There's a denial today from New Jersey's lieutenant governor, to a claim made by the mayor of Hoboken.
Over the weekend, Mayor Dawn Zimmer said relief funding for Superstorm Sandy was withheld from her severely-flooded city because she wouldn't support a real estate venture involving people with political connections to Gov. Chris Christie.
Today, the lieutenant governor calls the claim "false" and "illogical."
Zimmer met with investigators from the U.S. attorney's office yesterday about the matter.
