ODESSA-Buying prescription drugs can get costly and often time many cannot afford it.
Pharmacists at Medical Center Hospital in Odessa have a number of tips, which can help patients purchase prescriptions at an affordable price.
Often time people arenít aware that Doctors can refer patients to a number of programs, where medications can be bought for as little as $4 or $5.
"Too many people think that they don't have any choices, and don't have any options to get the things that they need when they really just need to communicate their needs with their Physicians," said Charlene Dawson, the Director of Pharmacy at Medical Center Hospital.
Dawson says retail stores such as HEB, Target, and Walmart all have programs that offer medications for as little as $4.
