ERCOT Says Normal Operations Resume After Outage 1/19/14

AUSTIN, Texas - The operator of the electricity transmission grid for
most of Texas says they've returned to normal operations following a sudden
power plant outage.
The Electric Reliability Council of Texas, or ERCOT, said Saturday that the
system "recovered quickly and remained reliable as reserves were deployed."
They said normal operations resumed after additional generation came
ERCOT manages the flow of electric power to 23 million Texas customers-
representing 85 percent of the state's electric load.
