No Injuries After Train Collides With Car in Midland County 1/16/14

UPDATE 6:55 P.M.:
DPS tells us that the driver of the vehicle was in traffic and stopped on the train tracks. He and two passengers, ages seven and 10, jumped out of the vehicle before the train hit. They all walked away safely.
No word yet on whether the driver faces any charges or citations, an investigation is pending.
MIDLAND CO.-Eyewitnesses report a train crashed into a Honda sedan on Hwy. 80 in between 1788 and Loop 250 across the street from Big dog Rig Movers in Midland County.
Texas Department of Public Safety spokesperson Elena Viramontes tells CBS 7 no one was injured. No word yet on whether the car was stopped on the tracks, DPS and Union Pacific are on scene investigating.
