MIDLAND, TX - A lawsuit stemming from the "Hunt for Heroes” parade train crash that killed four veterans may end up being tried in Midland. Kevin Glasheen, the attorney representing some of the victims in the lawsuit against Union Pacific tells CBS 7 that some of the attorneys involved wanted the case to be moved to the Dallas area.
In order to move the case, it must go through a multi-step process. Glasheen says the Fifth District Court of Appeals ruled that the case should be tried in Midland but this is simply one of several steps. The Texas Supreme Court will have the final ruling.
