Midland Man Charged In Mortgage Fraud Scheme Granted Bond 1/13/14

(Midland)- A Midland man is expected to make a $250,000 bond after he was arrested for an alleged mortgage fraud scheme.
Michael Duraine Cowan the second appeared before a Federal Magistrate Tuesday afternoon.
The judge also ordered Cowan to wear a GPS ankle monitor and Cowan cannot leave Midland or Ector counties without approval.
The Midlander is one of four people arrested in the fraud investigation.
The other three are free on bond.
Cowan will go before a judge the first week in February to either plea to a sentence or ask for a trial.
