ODESSA-An Odessa family was reunited with their missing husky, who had been missing since the first of this year.
The Redferns say their husky escaped from their home and was last seen by a security guard inside of the Wal-Mart in West Odessa.
The security guard told CBS 7 that he handed the husky over to a former employee and her husband, who said they would watch over her until she was claimed.
The Redferns say they left multiple posters of their missing dog with Wal-Mart managers, who said they hadn't heard from anyone in regards to their husky.
It wasn't until we shared the Redferns story on both our Facebook page and website earlier today, that the couple who took their husky home from Wal-Mart, called the family letting them know they had her.
The Redferns say the couple told them they had been calling Wal-Mart everyday to check if anyone had come in searching for the husky, but were told no.
The Redferns say they’re just happy to have their “baby” back home.
