Chris Christie, New Jersey Governor and possible 2016 presidential contender, today said he is "embarrassed and humiliated" by the unfolding political scandal over traffic delays near the George Washington Bridge in September.
Christie said he knew nothing of the intention by some on his staff to punish the Fort Lee Mayor in New Jersey by creating traffic jams in his community.
Today, the governor acted and made the first firings on his staff. We talked with James Beauchamp, Chairman of the Midland County Republican Party. He said he believes that Christie did not have any knowledge of “Bridgegate.” Beachamp, said he does not think that it will hurt his potential run for president unless it comes to light that he did have prior knowledge.
