CBS 7 Staff Reports
ECTOR COUNTY – Two dogs at the center of an animal cruelty investigation by the Ector County Sheriff’s Office have been released to Austin Boxer Rescue, a Austin-based rescue group that takes in boxers.
CBS 7 first reported on this story when Sara Couch says she saw a sick dog lying in an ally and took it to Angel Vet Clinic.
The family called the sheriff's office and filed a report that two of their dogs were stolen. They say they will be pressing charges on the person who took them.
Sheriff’s Office then opened an animal cruelty investigation, which is still underway.
