Rain Chances Increase Tonight 1/9/14
A weak cold front moved into the region overnight. That will leave us with high temperatures today running 4-5 degrees cooler than yesterday's readings. However, we will still reach the upper 50's to mid 60's across much of the region. A few locations near the Rio Grande will even hit the 70's.
Clouds will increase this evening ahead of the next upper level storm system. Rain chance will begin in the mountains around midnight and spread across the Permian Basin through Friday morning. Clouds and rain chances will decrease through the day on Friday. This will be followed by an increased westerly wind. Highs on Friday will reach into the mid to upper 60's.
Even warmer conditions are likely over the weekend.
