Two Odessa men will stand trial today in Federal Court for possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute.
Braxton Stokes, 25, and Christopher Herrington, 25, were arrested on October 9, 2013 after the Drug Enforcement Administration and the Federal Bureau of Investigation, assisted by the Odessa Police Department SWAT Team, served a narcotics search warrant on the home.
During the search, authorities found an ounce of methamphetamine, five guns, and a small military training explosive inside a duplex in the 1000 block of 15th Street in Odessa.
Today, they will stand before Federal Judge Robert A. Junell.
The jury was selected at 9 a.m. and the trial will begin around lunchtime.
