3 Steps to Stay With it at the Gym This Year 1/3/14

Many people make New Year's resolutions to go to the gym more often. Two gyms we spoke with say they get a wave of people at the beginning of the new year, but it usually tapers out.
Experts say three steps can help you stick to it. The first step is to put on a t-shirt and shorts and actually get to the gym. Next, is to make sure you eat nutritionally so that you see results faster...that boosts confidence and determination. Finally don't give up, remember why you set this goal in the first place.
"I've said it before but I think this year is the year I'm going to do it," says local resident, Susie Rodgers.
Experts say keeping these three ideas in mind will help you stay on track with your new year's resolution to work out this year. Golds Gym tells us that between their two gyms in midland, they get roughly one thousand new members at the beginning of each year.
