Snapchat Hacking Makes Some Parents Nervous 1/2/14
CBS 7 News
Many parents already worry about their kids using social media, especially at a young age. Withe the application "Snapchat," many are saying it gives a person a "false" sense of security that their photo will be deleted immediately after they send it.
"Somehow it has to be stored in a database," says a parent of three. "I hear they've already created an app to download the Snapchat pictures."
With the recent hacking of Snapchat, Reuters reports that hackers posted account info for 4.6 million users.
"Parents just need to be responsible and monitor what their kids are doing," says another parent.
