Hospitals and Police Officers Had Their Hands Full New Year's Eve 1/1/14

ODESSA-The New Year brought in more patients than normal into the emergency room over at Medical Center Hospital in Odessa.
Hospital Officials say a total of 81 patients checked into the ER between 7:00pm last night and 7:00am this morning.
Sixteen out of the 81 were trauma patients, and 3 checked in for alcohol poisoning.
The Odessa Police Department had their hands full last night as well.
Police Officials say 50% more officers were on duty last night and a total of 350 calls were made.
Out of the 350 calls 53 were complaints in regards to fireworks, 30 were disturbances, and 15 were made in regards to gunshots being fired.
