West Texas Bank Fined For Discrimination Against Hispanics 12/31/13
FORT DAVIS, TX - A West Texas owned bank has agreed to settle a discrimination suit that alleges it hiked prices for Hispanics.
The justice department has announced that Fort Davis State Bank must now use "Uniform Pricing", conduct employee training and pay 159 thousand dollars as part of a settlement.
The proceeds from the settlement will be given to victims of the alleged discrimination.
Final approval must come from the federal court.
