Knicks' Anthony Sidelined by Sprained Left Ankle 12/25/13
NEW YORK - Carmelo Anthony is sitting out the New York Knicks' game against Oklahoma City with a sprained left ankle, unable to take part in a Christmas Day showdown with the Thunder's Kevin Durant.
Anthony was hurt Monday in a victory at Orlando. It's the first game this season missed for Anthony, who averages 26.3 points, second to Kevin Durant's 28.1.
The Knicks did have Kenyon Martin, who has missed the last five games with a strained abdominal muscle.
