Odessa Woman Wanted on Child Endangerment Charges in Custody 12/19/13
UPDATE: The official record says that Redic gave birth to a child in her residence in Odessa on Sept. 26th, 2013.
CPS records later show a reference to an infant dying at Medical Center Hospital on Oct. 20th, 2013.
Medical records say the baby tested positive for cocaine, opiates and benzodiazepines.
She is being charged with child endangerment, a second-degree felony, in relation to the infant's death.
She also faces six more charges of child endangerment for positive drug tests performed on her six other children.
On December 19th, 2013 at approximately 1615 hours, Redic was taken into custody by the U.S. Marshalls at the Ector County Law Enforcement Center.
ODESSA - Odessa Police tell us that Talisha Redic, the woman wanted on several counts of child endangerment after exposing her children to cocaine, has turned herself in to authorities.
