Area exterminators are treating more bed bugs than ever before; some places you wouldn't even think of.
You've heard of bed bugs popping up in homes and hotels, but did you know you can even find them on oil rigs.
Just the thought of having bed bugs is enough to make you want to crawl out of your skin.
"It's disgusting," one person said.
"Kinda creepy, kinda gross," another said.
Bed bugs can be found where you sleep, even where you work; sometimes both.
"They can go anywhere people carry them," Nancy Witten, Boydstun Pest Control owner said. "We've done everything from travel trailers to apartment complexes."
A viewer sent CBS 7 photos of a bed bug outbreak on an oil rig claiming they were found in the bunk house on the rig. It’s a problem area exterminators say they're seeing more and more of.
"It's the luggage, comes in the luggage," an oil field worker said.
“They stay out there for a long time, I know that. I wouldn't want to be anywhere close to that," another oil field worker said.
As if having bed bugs isn't enough of a hassle, getting rid of them is almost just as bad.
"You can't just go in, spray a corner and you're done," Witten said. "It's a minimum two time spray, sometimes it's more than two times."
She says bed bugs aren’t picky and can cost hundreds of dollars to exterminate them, not to mention having to throw away most of nearly all your belongings.
If you think you have a bed bug infestation, you're urged to get into contact with an exterminator and to stay isolated.
