December 10, 2013
The class of the NBA Eastern Conference renew their budding rivalry to highlight eight-game NBA schedule tonight.
Miami heads into Indiana in their first meeting since the Heat eliminated the Pacers in seven games on the way to the NBA title last season. Guard Dwyane Wade's status for the Heat is unknown, after he's missed six of Miami's 21 games to either rest his oft-ailing knees, or deal with illness. He didn't play in Miami's win at Detroit on Sunday night.
The two teams have played is close with the Heat holding a slight 9-8 edge in their last 17 meetings against the Pacers, with an average victory margin in those games of only 2.5 points.
Kobe Bryant sees his second action of the season for the Lakers who host Phoenix tonight. The Lakers star guard marked his return from a torn Achilles tendon with 9 points, 8 rebounds and 8 turnovers in loss to Toronto Sunday night.
San Antonio will be trying to right a recent rough patch when they travel to take on Toronto tonight. The Southwest Division leading Spurs have lost three of their last five.
