(Midland) - Driver fatigue may have played a role in a fatal Monday morning wreck that killed a 24-year-old Midland man.
According to DPS Troopers, Justin Dean Cox of Midland was driving an F-250 pickup with a trailer heading north on FM 1788, and drifted into the opposite lane striking an 18-wheeler.
Troopers say Cox then hit another 18-wheeler.
He was not wearing a seat belt, and was pronounced dead at the scene.
FM 1788 was closed from north of Highway 191 to the 349-reliever route as DPS investigated the crash.
