Boeing 737 Enroute from Midland to Dallas Grounded Due to Engine Problems 12/4/13

A Southwest Boeing 737 landed at Midland International Airport as a precautionary measure this morning due to problems with an engine, according to Midland officials.
Midland city officials tell CBS 7 the plane took off from Midland International Airport this morning around 7am.
They say the pilot noticed one of the engines was not working at 100-percent. Officials tell CBS 7 the plane circled the airport and then landed as a precautionary measure. The plane was able to land safely.
City officials say anytime there is an unscheduled landing of a plane, they deem it as an emergency landing.
The plane is on the runway at this time getting looked over by mechanics. No word on when it will take off at this time.
Midland Tx. - The Midland Fire Department tells CBS 7 emergency crews were dispatched to an emergency landing at Midland International Airport.
A Boeing 737 experienced mechanical failure and safely landed.
No injuries have been reported at this time.
