Football: Odessa High Eliminated At The Hands of Arlington Martin 11/22/13
by MARSHALL HUGHES
Odessa High senior running back C.J. Eddison has been a constant workhorse for the Bronchos this season.
Eddison walked into the Bronchos Area Round playoff game against Arlington Martin needing only 24 yards to set the single-season school record for most rushing yards.
The record must have come bittersweet for Eddison.
Eddison now holds that mark but Odessa High suffered a 52-2 loss to Martin to end the Bronchos season.
The Bronchos managed to get on the scoreboard in the fourth quarter after the Odessa High defense forced a safety, but Martin controlled this game all the way to the final buzzer.
Odessa High has to feel good about the way things played out this season. After going 1-9 in 2012, the Bronchos finish their 2013 campaign at 6-6.
Arlington Martin moves on to the Regional Round where the Warriors will face the winner of DeSoto vs. Coppell.
