Smokers Not The Only Ones Diagnosed With Lung Cancer 11/12/13

ODESSA, TX-Medical officials at Medical Center Hospital say often time lung cancer is identified as a stigma.
Those with the cancer are usually automatically labeled smoker, but that isnít always the case.
According to the American Cancer Society, 23% of lung cancer deaths are from non-smokers.
One local man has never smoked cigarettes in his life and has had lung cancer for two years now.
"People jump to conclusions, in fact, I have so many people who ask what kind of cancer do you have, I tell them lung, and they say were you a smoker,Ē said Bob Forbess.
Lorita Kelley, a Nurse Navigator for MCH, says lung cancer can be caused by a number things, such as from second hand smoking to being exposed to radon or asbestos, such as insulation.
