MIDLAND, TX-With Christmas around the corner, West Texans were invited to attend the Annual Christmas Celebration at the Scarborough/Linebery House in Midland.
Those who attended had the opportunity to tour the second oldest home in Midland, which was originally built in 1907, and they enjoyed the beautiful decorations that were put up by volunteers.
"It was in the same family until it was given to the city in 1995, and we opened it in 1998, and every year since then we have Christmas open house," said Frances Stapp, the Curator of the Scarborough/Linebery House.
Stapp said the house is one of Midlandís best-kept secrets, and it's the only historic house that is open to the public.
There will be luncheons, dinners, and private parties throughout the holiday season. You can visit the City of Midlandís website for those dates.
