STANTON-The Stanton Housing Authority is in the midst of its "Sweet Dreams" program. With the help of local businesses, they raised over $3,000 to put towards the purchase of mattresses for residents who live in the housing authority properties in Stanton and Rankin.
Director Monica Quiroga Maldonado says they purchased 99 Tempurpedic mattresses through wholesale brokers at a cost of $7,000. The mattresses are valued at $269,249.
There is no application process for the mattresses, it is all done through property management.
