Permian Basin Youth Football League; Breast Cancer Survivors and Memory Ceremony 10/26/13
The Permian Basin Youth Football League held a special ceremony today in honor of breast cancer awareness month.
Today had a special meaning for the league; two players suffered from brain cancer and one of those, a Crane Ravens player passed away this year.
Players sported pink socks and cheerleaders performed a routine with pink pom-poms.
After the cheer, players and cheerleaders escorted cancer survivors onto the field holding pink balloons and yellow balloons were carried in remembrance of friends and family who were affected by cancer for balloon release.
