ODESSA, TX-West Texas Food Bank employees say that starting November 1st SNAP Food Benefits (formerly known as Food Stamps) will see a cut.
They along with other food pantries are preparing for these cuts, and expect to see an increase of families in need.
Jose Trevino with the Food Bank says an average family of four can expect to receive $36 dollars less a month.
Trevino wants families to know that they can rely on the food bank for assistance through this tough time, and can refer them to other organizations in the area.
