ODESSA, TX-DPS troopers are on the hunt for a man accused of crashing a truck into a home and then fleeing the scene.
The picture to the right is of the scene earlier tonight at Claymoor Drive and Lennox Avenue in Odessa.
DPS officials and the Odessa K-9 unit were out on the scene searching for the driver who fled on foot.
DPS officials were unable to find the suspect, and say they have identified him but will not comment on his identity.
Delbert Crumpley, the homeowner whose house was damaged, reported no injuries to anyone inside the home. According to Crumpley, the truck ran into the spare bedroom.
“Highway Patrol was chasing him evidently, she (highway patrol officer) had been chasing him down 87th street, and he turned down Claymoor, and when he got to this point, the road curves and he didn't know which way to go and so he just bailed out of his truck,” said Crumpley.
He describes the driver as a Hispanic man in his early 20's.
DPS officials are still searching for the suspect.
