Stanton Middle School Almost Reaches High School Size 9/26/13
CBS 7 News
The Stanton middle school has three grades and 208 students according to Superintendent David Carr. That number is only 16 students less than what the high school has with four grades.
Carr says they haven't seen a boom like other districts around them, but they may have to expand the high school when the middle school students get older in a few years.
One reason he says the boom hasn't been as big is because Stanton is landlocked. The small growth in students comes from east of Loop 250 near Midland.
Talks are still in the very early stages he says.
