The third defensive starter lost in the game, safety Rashad Johnson, could return for next Sunday's game at Tampa Bay. He had the tip of a finger cut off and in a Twitter post called it the most painful injury he's had.
ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. - The Buffalo Bills have placed Alex Carrington on season-ending injured reserve after the starting defensive end tore his left quadriceps. He was hurt in Sunday's loss to the Jets.
Coach Doug Marrone said Carrington was scheduled to have surgery on Monday.
