ALPINE-The City of Alpine says it is still working to get its finances in order following personnel changes over the past year.
Interim Finance Director Deborah Pattison recently told the council that the city was unable to balance its credits versus debits to the tune of $30.2 million dollars.
Mayor Avinash Rangra tells CBS 7 that representatives from an accounting software company were in Alpine Friday to train employees.
Rangra said he feels the $30.2 million figure is not accurate because of a lack of training in how to use their accounting software.
