KERMIT-The City of Kermit will flush its main water lines next week.
Director of Public Works John Shepard says the lines will be flushed between Monday, September 23rd and 27th.
"Residents will experience some discolored water when we start moving those sediments," Shepard said.
The line flushing is part of annual, routine maintenance. Water for homeowners could turn dark or murky, but you should just run your tap or a hose and wait for it to clear.
Officials say not to use the murky water until it clears.
