Former Bears Back Dies 9/16/13
CHICAGO - Former Chicago Bears running back Rick Casares (kah-SAH'-rehs) died at his Tampa, Fla., home on Friday, according to the team. He was 82.
Casares played 10 seasons in Chicago and ran for 5,675 yards, a team record until Walter Payton surpassed him. Casares was a five-time Pro Bowl pick and a member of the 1963 championship team.
