A Chance of Rain Today 9/16/13
Monday Weather Update
Greg Morgan – Chief Meteorologist
Changes are in place across West Texas. The weather pattern will be driven by tropical moisture streaming northward into the area from Mexico. Skies will be mostly cloudy and at least a slight chance of rain is in the offing for most of the area today. Highs will be in the mid 80’s.
A chance of rain will linger into your Tuesday with highs again topping out in the mid to upper 80’s and mostly cloudy skies.
Highs will be a bit closer to 90 for most locations on Wednesday as the storms depart the area and skies clear just a bit. Look for a much smaller chance of rain in the area on Wednesday and Thursday.
A cold front will move through the area on Friday. This will bring a noticeable drop in temperatures and a slight chance of rain on Friday. Cooler air will linger into the weekend.
