Milder Temperatures, Chance of Rain 9/8/13
The upper level ridge of high pressure that has been dominating our weather pattern will shift eastward over the next couple of days. This will allow more moisture to flow into our area from the Gulf. Disturbances rounding a low pressure trough in the Western U.S. will move across our area Monday and Tuesday, bringing a chance of thunderstorms back into the picture. Increased cloud cover will also help keep our daytime highs a bit cooler, at or slightly below seasonal averages.
