Residents Worry About Organized Crime in Martin County 8/29/13

Sources tell CBS 7 that organized crime in Martin County and recent crimes make residents concerned that a bigger problem might be at hand. They say they don't want it to disrupt and cause violence in their otherwise calm and quiet town.
"It makes me really scared," said resident Elvira Montoya.
But still, the County Sheriff's office being close by give many in the community a big sense of safety.
"I feel safe, and you know the sheriff's department's right around the corner and the police department is right there so I mean it's pretty safe," said one resident Jasmine Ross.
Martin County Judge Jarrell Hedrick tells CBS 7 that highway patrol often stops drivers on I-20 who have charges that range from possession to more serious, dangerous drug crimes.
