A slight chance of isolated showers and thunderstorms exists across the area today. The best chance of rain will be west of the Pecos River. Highs will be in the lower to mid 90ís for all but the mountains. Highs in the higher elevations will be in the 80ís.
The chance of rain will back down a bit this weekend and next week. However, the chance of rain will not completely go away. As such, Iíve decided to keep a 10% chance of rain in the forecast through the next 7 days. Most locations will be dry, but an isolated storm or two canít be ruled out.
Highs will be in the lower to mid 90ís through the next 7 days. Overnight lows will bottom out around 70.
