Sanderson Residents Beware of Hunting Lodge Break-ins 8/17/13
Hunters in Sanderson should beware when returning to your lodges this fall.
Sanders Chief Deputy Keith Hughes says that although crime rate is low in his county, what he does see are people coming over the border and breaking into hunting lodges.
Since many in the community only live in the lodges during hunting season, it may be months to a year before they get back to their lodge and realize something is missing. Basic steps such as locking your doors or having an alarm system are good ways to ensure the safety of your property.
